Khalid Mahmood MP (Labour)
Khalid Mahmood has served as Labour MP for Brimingham, Perry Barr since June 2001. Recently in the December 2019 General Election, Khalid received 26,594 votes, which equaled a 63.1% majority, retaining his seat.
He currently serves as a Shadow Minister for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs in Europe.
Khalid's earlier political career includes being a member of the Birmingham City Council, as well as Chair of Race Relations.
Khalid was a member of the Broadcasting Committee (2001-2005) and Home Affairs Committee (2009-2010). He is also member of the AEEU, the Socialist Health Association, as well as a National Member of Labour Finance and Industry Group.
