Paul Pogba: The world’s most expensive player

With all the summer signings these past few weeks we now know that the Premier League will have more Black players than ever, including stars such as Leroy Sane, Lys Mousett and Michy Batshuayi. With these three alone there wouldn’t be much change from 80 million pounds.

But with Manchester United breaking the world record to buy back a former player, Juventus midfield star Paul Pogba becomes the most expensive player in the world at a eye watering cost of 89 million pounds. Great business for Juventus who initially bought Pogba from United for less than two million pounds three years ago.

It’s great to see all these very gifted Black players at the top of their game and earning big money too, but the fact that the world’s most expensive football league will still be without a Black manager is a stain the Premier league cannot hide.

Good luck to Pogba, and whether you’re a united fan or not, I’m sure we’ll all look forward to the Pogba Dab !
