Nick Griffin reared his ugly head last week making offensive and provocative comments about Bradford.

Griffin made the comments in reference to an innocuous national news story in Denmark about a giraffe which was put down at Copenhagen Zoo to prevent inbreeding.

Griffin’s twisted response to the story, which he tweeted to nearly 30,000 followers stated,

“Strange the Danes shoot giraffes to stop them having retarded offspring with their cousins. It’s regarded as perfectly normal in Bradford.”

His vile message seeks no other purpose than to simply stoke racial tensions and has understandably prompted an angry response.

Bradford West MP George Galloway said,

“I think it’s potentially actionable. It’s definitely intended to stir-up racial hatred and prejudice, which is illegal in this country. It just underscores the need to rid ourselves of this man from the region.”

With the European elections on the horizon, Griffin who was recently declared bankrupt, will be fighting to maintain his seat as the MEP for the neighbouring North West region. Voters should take heed of Griffin’s race hate messages and ensure through the ballot box, that his political voice is silenced.
