Multiculturalism fights back

The Prime Minister recently criticised what he called 'state multiculturalism' and said it had failed, arguing that Britain needs a stronger national identity. Perhaps one of the greatest cultural theorists of our generation Professor Stuart Hall (pictured above) takes a measured view about David Cameron’s views, culture, politics and race.

If you’ve never read his books or heard him speak don’t miss this golden opportunity to listen to this great thinker on Radio 4 iPlayer.

Like me you’ll quickly become an admirer of this man of gravitas.
