Kate Hopkins sacked by LBC
The outspoken bigot, Katie Hopkins was sacked today from one of her lucrative media jobs at radio station LBC. The public outcry and the possible boycott that faced the radio station to act came after Hopkins remarks about the ‘Final Solution’, that was needed after the Manchester terror attack.
The police now have to decide whether to bring charges against Hopkins for inciting racial hatred. At a time when Islamaphobia has never been higher, suggesting the annihilation of its people would surly give a green light for some people to do harm to Muslims.
And now the Daily Mail who employs Hopkins has a decision to make. Do they stand by their bigoted mouth piece, or will advertisers of the paper force the issue and demand that their products should not be associated with such a divisive individual.
Last year, Mail Online, was forced to pay £150,000 to a Muslim family whom she falsely accused of extremist links.
Most people in the UK have come together to show solidarity to those who have lost or injured loved ones in the Manchester attack. With the exception of Hopkins and a few others, the nation has chosen hope and love, not hate and violence.
Today is a good day when one of the vehicles from which Hopkins spews her poison has been shut off.
